Effective date: July 15, 2026 Last updated: July 15, 2026
01

Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the InMotion Counseling website, including its pages, forms, appointment links, educational materials, and related online features.

By accessing or using this website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website.

These website terms are separate from any informed consent, telehealth consent, financial agreement, or practice policy provided before professional services begin.

02

Website Purpose

This website provides general information about InMotion Counseling, Veronica’s professional services, areas of support, session fees, virtual therapy, and ways to contact or schedule with the practice.

Website content is provided for general informational and educational purposes. It is not a diagnosis, personalized treatment recommendation, emergency intervention, or substitute for professional medical, psychiatric, psychological, legal, or financial advice.

Do not rely on website content to make urgent health or safety decisions.

03

Therapist-Client Relationship

Visiting this website, reading its content, sending an email, submitting a form, leaving a message, or requesting a consultation does not automatically create a therapist-client relationship.

A professional relationship is established only after InMotion Counseling confirms that services can be provided and all required intake, consent, scheduling, and practice procedures have been completed.

An inquiry or appointment request does not guarantee acceptance as a client, appointment availability, or that InMotion Counseling is an appropriate provider for a particular person or concern.

04

Eligibility and Service Areas

InMotion Counseling provides secure virtual therapy for eligible clients who are physically located in Georgia, Florida, or South Carolina at the time of their appointment.

The ability to receive services may depend on age, location, clinical needs, scheduling availability, professional requirements, consent requirements, and whether virtual therapy is considered appropriate.

Parents or legal guardians may contact the practice to ask general questions about potential services for a teen. Consent, confidentiality, and parent or guardian involvement will be discussed during the intake process.

Insurance reimbursement

Depending on an individual insurance plan, a client may be eligible to request partial reimbursement through out-of-network mental-health benefits. Coverage, deductibles, documentation requirements, and reimbursement amounts are determined by the insurance company.

InMotion Counseling does not guarantee insurance coverage or reimbursement. Clients remain responsible for fees owed to the practice regardless of whether an insurance company reimburses any portion of the cost.

07

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Appointments are reserved specifically for each client. Contact the practice as early as possible when you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Cancellation notice requirements, late-cancellation fees, missed-appointment fees, exceptions, and rescheduling procedures are governed by the current practice policies provided during intake or scheduling.

If a website summary conflicts with a signed financial agreement or current practice policy, the signed or directly provided document will control to the extent permitted by applicable law.

08

Telehealth Services

Virtual therapy depends on technology, internet access, compatible devices, and a private environment. Telehealth may involve limitations such as interrupted connections, audio or video problems, device incompatibility, delayed communications, or privacy risks.

Clients are expected to take reasonable steps to protect their privacy, such as using a private location, securing their device, protecting login information, and using headphones when appropriate.

Additional telehealth disclosures, emergency-location information, consent terms, and technology instructions may be provided before services begin.

09

Contact Forms and Electronic Communications

By submitting contact information, you authorize InMotion Counseling to respond through the contact method you provided, subject to applicable privacy and communication requirements.

Ordinary email, voicemail, text messages, and general website forms may not provide the same protections as a designated secure client portal. Do not submit detailed medical history, payment-card details, Social Security numbers, emergency information, or other highly sensitive information through a general website form.

This website is not for emergencies.

Website forms, email, voicemail, and online booking tools are not monitored continuously and should not be used for urgent mental-health concerns or crisis support.

10

Acceptable Website Use

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with the website, practice operations, or the rights and safety of others.

You may not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, forms, servers, scheduling tools, accounts, or data.
  • Introduce malware, harmful code, automated attacks, or disruptive technology.
  • Use the website to harass, threaten, impersonate, deceive, defraud, or harm another person.
  • Submit knowingly false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
  • Copy, scrape, republish, or commercially exploit website content without permission.
  • Interfere with website security, availability, performance, or legitimate visitor access.

Website access may be restricted when misuse, security risk, unlawful conduct, or a violation of these terms is reasonably suspected.

11

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the website design, written content, graphics, branding, logos, photographs, downloadable materials, and page layouts are owned by or licensed to InMotion Counseling.

Website content may be viewed for personal, non-commercial informational purposes. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, license, display, or create derivative works from protected content without prior written permission.

Third-party names, logos, trademarks, platforms, and materials remain the property of their respective owners.

12

Third-Party Platforms and External Links

InMotion Counseling may use or link to third-party platforms for scheduling, forms, client portals, electronic signatures, payments, video sessions, communications, website hosting, or analytics.

Third-party platforms are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, availability, and security practices. InMotion Counseling does not control every aspect of an external platform and is not responsible for external content, outages, or independent business practices.

Review the applicable third-party terms before using an external booking, payment, portal, or telehealth service.

13

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.

InMotion Counseling makes reasonable efforts to provide useful information but does not guarantee that every page, statement, fee, schedule, link, or external service will always be complete, current, uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors.

Therapy experiences and outcomes vary. Website descriptions, educational content, testimonials, and general statements do not guarantee a particular result.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, InMotion Counseling and its owner, providers, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from website access, website unavailability, reliance on general website content, or use of third-party platforms.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

14

Updates, Availability, and Severability

Changes to these terms

InMotion Counseling may update this website, its services, fees, links, policies, or these Terms of Service periodically. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

Website availability

Website access may be changed, suspended, restricted, or discontinued temporarily or permanently for maintenance, security, technical, legal, or operational reasons.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

Separate service documents

Separate informed-consent, telehealth, privacy, financial, and practice-policy documents may apply to professional services. Those documents may contain terms that are more specific than these general website terms.
